Juki LU-2818A Heavy Walking Foot Machine.

The ultimate machine amongst the Juki heavy duty walking foot machines. The 2818 is equipped with all the tools to do sew through the heaviest of work. From canvas, pvc, awnings, boat covers, webbing, you name it, it can do it.

Featuring an automatic trim, backtack, and pneumatic footlift system, it has all the right tools to be the one machine to do it all. Furthermore, a stepping feature allows you to sew through varying material thickness in one sewing line.

Mounted on a modern and quiet high powered direct drive servo motor with a the operator will have a full speed control giving a better finish to the product that you want. The 2818 also has a larger sewing area than many standard walking foot machines providing an ease of use when feeding large samples such as boat covers, tents, etc.

This is also the extra heavy duty variant meaning that it comes with a more sturdy presser foot system, as well as an improved needle plate and feed dog. An extra large 32mm bobbin is also equipped which is larger than the general 28mm size on a standard top load walking foot machine. This means that you change bobbins less, meaning more time sewing.

Featuring dual tension dials, you can quickly change between high and low tensions with the press of a button.
