Choosing your tagging system
Standard tagging supplies
Choose a standard-system gun for compatible standard fasteners. Our white standard tag pins come in boxes of 5,000, with 12mm, 15mm, 25mm and 50mm length options. The range includes the YH-11(S) and Kobe standard guns, plus YH202 replacement needles in packs of five. Select the pin length on the product page; price and availability vary by option.
Fine & short-pin tagging supplies
The YH-31(X) fine gun uses the matching 7mm fine pins, supplied in boxes of 10,000. The Kobe XL is another fine / short-pin option. Fine-system needles are separate from standard needles, and a “fine” label alone does not guarantee that every replacement needle fits every model. Confirm the fitting for your gun before ordering.
Tag pins, clips, barbs or fasteners?
These terms are often used for the plastic attachments that connect a swing tag to a garment. Choose the correct system first, then a length that leaves enough room for the tag and attachment point. Tag pins are different from sewing pins, and a tagging gun attaches a label—it does not print prices or barcodes.
Tag garments with care
Use a suitable sewn-in label or seam allowance where practical, and test the gun on a scrap or discreet area first. Fine tagging is not a guarantee against holes or damage in delicate fabrics. Keep fingers clear of the needle, follow the gun's loading and replacement instructions, and fit the protective cover after use.
