Outdoor 40 – Withstands wind and weather

Sun and wind protection

Whether on the balcony, in the garden or on the beach: Outdoor textiles are exposed to sun, rain, snow, dirt or wind and have to withstand a lot. They must be durable and easy to clean and dry as quickly as possible. Hardwearing sewing threads are essential for withstanding these stresses. Conventional sewing threads are only suitable for use outdoors to a limited extent: They quickly become damaged and lose the necessary properties, in particular colour fastness. Outdoor 40 has been specially developed for these conditions.

Lasting resistance to environmental conditions

In the maritime sector, sewing threads come into contact with salt water. Outdoor 40 is also specially equipped for these enormous demands. Thanks to its particularly high tear and abrasion resistance, it is ideal for sewing strong closing and backstitch seams on all kinds of outdoor fabrics, such as upholstery and awning fabrics and canvases.
